Responsibilities:
- Participate in planning engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk;
- Ensure that daily fieldwork is directed, that supervisors are informed of the engagement status, and that staff performance is well managed;
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations;
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients and assess clients' satisfaction;
- Develop people through effectively delegating tasks, conducting performance reviews and providing guidance, performance feedback and training;
- Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills;
- Participate in generating new business opportunities by understanding the company and its service lines and by identifying opportunities to apply the firm's services.
Requirements:
To qualify for one of these highly visible positions and an excellent opportunity for career advancement, you must have:
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major;
- A recognized accounting certification;
- A minimum of three (3) to eight (8) years of experience working as an auditor or a manager of audit for a public accounting firm, or particular business/industry experience to meet special needs;
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills. The knowledge of a second language (French, German or Spanish) would be considered an asset;
